Celebrating the spirit, scenery and 19-year legacy of Etape Caledonia, this exclusive cotton lifestyle tee brings the Highlands to life through unique illustrations inspired by the event and the people who make it so special.
Available to all riders and fans, the Limited Edition tee can be picked up at the Etape Caledonia weekend in Pitlochry on 9–10 May 2026.
Meet Molly: The Designer Behind the T-shirt
We’re incredibly proud to spotlight Scottish designer Molly Paterson, whose work brings this year’s Limited Edition tee to life. Here’s a glimpse into her creative process:
What excited you most about collaborating with Etape Caledonia on the 2026 T-shirt?
“I was excited to create something for such an iconic Scottish event, one that means so much to riders, locals, and supporters alike.”
How did the Highlands and Etape Caledonia’s atmosphere influence your creative direction?
“The Highlands and the atmosphere were a huge source of inspiration. The mountains, tree-lined roads, and open skies set the overall mood. The energy, support, and sense of togetherness on the day also shaped the direction and helped capture what makes Etape Caledonia so special.”
Can you walk us through some of the design details?
“The ‘Together We Ride’ flag celebrates the shared achievement, camaraderie, and encouragement that define the event. The supporters gathered behind it represent the friends, family, locals, and wider community who make the ride more than a race.
The cyclists capture movement, endurance, and the three different route options: The Explorer’s Choice, The Balanced Challenge, and The Full Etape Experience - highlighting how riders can make the race their own.
The bagpiper nods to the unmistakable Scottish character of the day, a sound and sight many riders associate with the event.
The landscape elements: the mountain Schiehallion and the tree-lined roads - reference key parts of the route and celebrate the beauty of Highland Perthshire.”
How do you hope riders feel when they wear this Limited Edition T-shirt?
“I hope it brings back the feeling of the day, the challenge, the scenery, and the people. Ideally, it’s something they’ll want to wear long after the ride.”
